• Communication Data: Messages, feedback, and support requests you send to us.
• Team Member Data: Names and email addresses of team members you invite to your workspace.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, and interaction patterns within the platform.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, IP address, and language preferences.
• Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage. See Section 7 for details.

2.3 Information from Third-Party Services

When you connect social media accounts (such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, or X/Twitter) through our platform, we receive access tokens and profile information (username, profile picture, follower count) as authorized by each platform's OAuth permissions. We also retrieve analytics data (impressions, reach, engagement metrics) from these platforms to display within your Zendr dashboard.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: To provide, operate, and maintain the Zendr platform, including content scheduling, analytics, and AI-powered content generation.
• Account Management: To create and manage your account, process payments, and communicate with you about your subscription.

• Communication: To send transactional emails (approval notifications, team invites, scheduled reports), respond to support requests, and provide product updates.

• AI Processing: Content you submit for AI-powered generation (captions, hashtags, content suggestions) is processed through OpenAI's API. We do not share your personal identity with AI providers — only the content you explicitly submit for generation.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Zendr, our users, or the public.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted token storage for social media credentials, secure session management, and regular security reviews.

While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to maintaining the highest reasonable standard of data protection.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes.

Social media analytics data and content history are retained for the duration of your subscription to enable historical reporting. Upon account deletion, this data is permanently removed.
